Every Engineer is identity-verified, has their certifications checked against the issuing bodies, and passes a background screen before they can take a ticket. We look for real production experience, not just paper credentials, and we remove Engineers who violate our policies.
Remote sessions are encrypted and permission-based. Nothing happens on your device without your explicit consent, you can watch the entire session, and you can end it at any time. Engineers are contractually required to stay within the scope of your ticket and to keep what they access confidential.
Your $99 is authorized and held through Stripe when you submit a ticket, and it is only released to the Engineer when you confirm the issue is resolved. Card processing meets PCI DSS standards, and AskTechGurus never stores full card numbers.
