Do meaningful technical work on your schedule, earn up to 80% of every ticket, and skip the sales grind. AskTechGurus brings you the tickets — you bring the expertise.
You are a skilled systems, network, cloud, or security engineer. On AskTechGurus you claim tickets that match your expertise, solve real problems over secure remote sessions, and keep a clear, published share of each $99 ticket — without cold outreach, scoping calls, or chasing invoices. Work as much or as little as you want.
Every ticket is a flat $99. You keep a percentage of it that grows as you build a track record of resolved tickets and happy clients. Your tier is based on your lifetime resolved tickets and your average rating, and it can go up as you deliver.
| Tier | You keep | Per $99 ticket | How you reach it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Associate | 65% | $64.35 | During onboarding and your first 10 resolved tickets |
| Certified | 70% | $69.30 | Standard tier once onboarding and probation are complete |
| Senior | 75% | $74.25 | 100+ resolved tickets at a 4.8★ average or higher |
| Elite | 80% | $79.20 | 500+ resolved tickets at a 4.9★ average or higher |
Payouts run through Stripe Connect. You connect a Stripe Express account once during onboarding; after a client confirms a ticket is resolved, your share is credited and paid out to your bank on a regular schedule. Escrow protects both sides — the client's $99 is already held before you start, so you know the money is there, and the client knows the work will get done. There are no fees to join and nothing to buy.

Every engineer completes onboarding before claiming a single ticket. It protects clients, protects the platform, and protects your reputation as part of a vetted network. Here is exactly what it looks like:
